Atthe time, however, she was not only the largest ship that had ever been built, but was regarded as unsinkable,
forshe had sixteen watertight compartments. Even if two of these were flooded, shewould still be able to float.
Thetragic sinking of this great liner will always be remembered, for she went downon her first voyage with heavy loss of life.
老师:
1)was regarded as unsinkable - 是不是省略了to be, 即 was regarded as tobe unsinkable ?
2)Even if two of these were flooded, she would still be able to float. -
所以不能加to be。 即as unsinkable.
